Special Needs Program

Have you always wanted to play in a hockey league? Well, now is your chance. Come out and learn the various skills and drills of hockey as well as compete against different teams through the Brampton Hockey special needs program. You will learn how to stop, shoot, pass, score and play games with other special needs athletes.

As part of this program we travel to other Municipalities to play against teams in The Heart League and every sprint we attend the Special Hockey International Tournament . So come on out and develop your hockey skills. This league will give you the opportunity to practice all of these skills for every Saturday for one hour.

This league is a non-contact recreational league for our players and all games in the most part are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The objective of SPECIAL HOCKEY INTERNATIONAL "THE HEART LEAGUE" is to provide an ice hockey program for any child or adult regardless of age, race or gender, who has a special need, is physically able to walk and wishes to learn and play the game.
