| The evaluation of players plays an important role for the Brampton Youth Hockey Association. It helps the Recreational League committee organize teams for the exhibition season and provides coaches with helpful information in their preparation for the Rec League Draft. At the Intra City League level the information provided in the player evaluation process assists coaches in their team selection process. Rep coaches also make use of this information in helping them identify players from lower category teams who could move up a level for the upcoming hockey season.
